Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ClearLedger application ("Service"), operated by Physical Entrepreneur (Dmytro Onofriiuk), located at Lesi Ukrainky Street 14, App 130, Shchaslyve, Kyiv Oblast, Boryspil District, Ukraine ("Company", "we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using ClearLedger, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

ClearLedger is a web-based personal finance management application that allows users to track income, expenses, investments, and savings goals using a Plan vs Fact budget methodology. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with free and paid tiers.

2. Account Registration

To use ClearLedger, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

Free Tier: ClearLedger offers a free tier with limited features. No payment is required for the free tier.

Pro Tier: The Pro subscription provides access to additional features including unlimited year tracking, export capabilities, advanced charts, and priority support. The Pro subscription is billed on a monthly recurring basis at the price displayed at the time of purchase.

Billing: All payments are processed through our third-party payment processor (LemonSqueezy or Paddle). By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. Any price changes will be communicated to existing subscribers at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the paid Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the subscription management portal provided by our payment processor. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. After that period ends, your account will revert to the Free tier.

5. No Refund Policy

All payments made to ClearLedger are final and non-refundable. This includes monthly subscription fees, whether partial or full billing periods. We encourage you to use the free tier to evaluate the Service before subscribing to the Pro plan. By subscribing to the Pro tier, you acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy.

The Service, including its design, code, features, content, and branding, is owned by Physical Entrepreneur (Dmytro Onofriiuk) and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial finance tracking purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

8. User Data and Content

You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into ClearLedger. We do not claim any ownership rights over your personal financial information. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you input.

We store your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, share, or provide your financial data to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

9. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain the availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from downtime or changes to the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

ClearLedger is a budgeting and financial tracking tool. It is not a financial advisor, accountant, or tax professional. The Service does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or tax guidance. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service, other users, or the Company. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. We are not obligated to retain your data after account termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Ukraine.
